Landmark Settlement sets Standard for Website Accessibility
August 27, 2008: In a groundbreaking lawsuit settlement with the National Federation of the Blind (NFB), Target has committed to become an industry leader in website accessibility. This agreement sets an example for retail and other websites everywhere. People who use screen readers, whether due to vision impairments or other disabilities, will now have access to Target's website and therefore Target will increase its customer base, as a result of this settlement.
